What does a Christmas market look like in 2025?

Let’s be honest: in 2025, a Christmas market can be clearer, more modern, and more consciously designed.

Rawcut approached the creative brief with respect for cultural heritage and reinterpreted it for today. The result is a brand presence with character. As creative lead and art director, Rawcut was responsible for Polarzauber from naming and concept to the staging of one of Europe’s largest indoor Christmas markets. Executed digitally and physically, in close collaboration with the partner agencies of the Thryve Group. 

Over ten months, we developed a consistent brand system. The Polar theme forms the conceptual foundation. As a brand presence, it becomes visible across visual identity, communication, merch, Panettone packaging and spatial design. From this, precise experience spaces emerge: glowing logos and animated snowflakes, the Baba Noël Atelier as an urban meeting place, the Pixel Tunnel as an immersive experience for children, and the Fondue Express, where people eat, drink and sit together. show less
